Kenya’s IT and Outsourcing Services (KITOS) is a private sector body that acts as the catalyst for the growth of the IT & Outsourcing Services Industry in Kenya by facilitating trade and business, encouraging and advancing research and innovation, propagating education and employment. In so doing KITOS contributes immensely to the of the growth of the Kenyan economy.

Overall Objective
To be a strong ITES industry body that contributes to the creation of or lobbies for an enabling environment, developing capacity of the sector and building partnerships that position Kenya’s IT & Outsourcing business opportunities as truly investable

Strategic Objectives
1. Advocate for policies that influence, supports and develops the ITES/BPO sector growth through education of government, media, special interest groups and the public.
2. Create awareness of Kenya as an ITES and Outsourcing destination that will result in new venture creation, FDI and strong Public-Private-Partnership (PPP)
3. Encourage and develop a strong, innovative and vibrant domestic ITES and Outsourcing industry.
4. Be a one-stop-shop for information on ITES and Outsourcing opportunities in Kenya and Africa
5. Create linkages with international associations and accredited organizations to promote strong standards for the ITES/BPO industry
6. Be a thought leader in identifying, planning for and reacting to issues affecting Kenyan IT & Outsourcing companies
